Reacher

Reacher, our sweet and gentle giant, has been part of our training family since hew as just a playful puppy. This loveable Labrador has worked incredibly hard in his group classes, showing steady progress and a true eagerness to learn. With his devoted Mom and Dad by his side every step of the way, Reacher has blossomed into a well-mannered, confident companion. We’re so proud to celebrate his recent graduation from obedience class- a well-deserved achievement for such a kind hearted and hardworking boy!

  • Favorite Toy: Reacher’s most cherished toy is a squeaky nerf ball that he enjoys playing fetch with and dashing around the backyard. His prefered comfort item is an aluminum bowl that he has had since he first came home with us. He carries it around in his mouth. He sleeps with it beside him so he can easily grab it when necessary, and he adores playing fetch with it. We toss it like a frisbee.
  • Favorite Treat: Alaskan cod and Cheese
  • Favorite Hobby: Reacher enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, and going for walks or runs. He truly loves cold weather and had a great time galloping through the snow last winter.
  • Favorite activity at the Zoom Room: Reacher enjoys sitting or laying down and waiting patiently for his treat to be delivered during airplane game. Additionally, he looks forward to getting lots of attention from the staff.

Reacher’s owner, George and Ashley, had this to say:

Reacher makes a trip to see his grandmother at the Rosemont health and Rehab center at least once a month. He takes pleasure in chasing the geese that roam the grounds of the facility. The residents cherish Reacher, their faces lighting up with joy, and everyone eagerly anticipates his arrival, showering him with love and attention. Although Reacher typically exhibits high energy in similar situations elsewhere, he seems to recognize that these individuals are older and more delicate than most people he encounters. He maintains a calm and composed demeanor around the residents. His affection is especially evident with his two sets of grandparents. Since his first visit to the facility in December of 2024, Reacher has grown and matured remarkably well. We take pride in celebrating his accomplishments in obedience with us, but witnessing the joy he brings the others when he behaves well in public is the reason we chose to invest in Zoom Room training.
