Theo – January’s Dog

Seattle

Hi, I am Theodore Bromine though I usually go by Theo, T-O Bro or Muppet. I am an F2 chocolate Labradoodle. I was born December 5th, 2015 in Arlington, Washington. My dad found me when he was at the airport when he started talking to a man holding a cute puppy, my sister, who was traveling to her family. He found out that there were two more puppies that were waiting for their forever home and sent my mom pictures. With the mischievous look in my eyes, it was love at first sight. On February 14, 2016 they came to take me to my new home. I started at the Zoom Room the next week going to my first puppy playgroup. I started off shy and hid behind my mom’s legs though eventually opened up with some help from dad and met my best bud Hunter. We had alot of fun playing with Sharkie and chasing Leo in the tunnel. (Me and Hunter recently had a party at the Zoom Room to celebrate our 1st Birthday!) I also began puppy pre-school and puppy agility. I have come a long way and worked my way to Obedience 3 and Agility 3. I am hoping to get my CGC though am very suspicious of strangers and like to show off my bark for them. I am very vocal and have no problem sharing my thoughts. I am a very food motivated puppy, I especially love banana chips and string cheese. I am a hard worker and I earn my treats, though I forget everything if there are no treats. I am very dedicated to my agility training, when I knock down the 6 inch pole in class I will go home and practice by jumping over the puppy gate, fence or on the counter to practice for next class. When I am not hard at work practicing my “stay” I like to find places to take naps, chew on bones, squeak my toys incessantly, play with my cousin Marlin, who is living with us this year.  I go to the dog park, find sticks to show off, go swimming in Lake Washington, and I have a curious nose and work on my sniffing skills.  I enjoy sitting outside under my favorite tree and contemplate the mysteries of the universe, go on car rides and cuddle on the couch with my dad. I am looking forward to spring to go on more hikes with my family this year now that I am all grown up.
