Hi! My name is Angel, mom says she picked that name because one of her students suggested I would be her Angel when she was struggling. Being named Angel is a big name to live up to. Mom says I do a good job of living up to my name and I now here Little Angel. Every now and then the puppy comes out in me and I chew things I shouldn’t.… like Grandma’s outdoor couch or the hot tub cover- Sorry Mom!
Mom and dad have been my Angels too. I spent the first 6 months (or so, I can’t remember my birthday so I don’t know exactly how old I am) living on the Navajo Nation Reservation near Gallup, New Mexico. I was scared when I was first picked and when mom and dad came to adopt me, but boy am I glad they did! New things used to scare me because I didn’t know about a lot of things (like running water) and so much was changing! After mom and dad adopted me people kept moving in and out of the house, dogs came and went, and then WE moved!! First to another house in Gallup and then all the way to Seattle! Boy was THAT crazy! Through it all though, mom and dad have been with me and have shown me so many new things. Now I love going on adventures like camping, visiting the cabin, going to the beach, and going to school with mom.
New things still kind of scare me sometimes, like when mom got this crazy idea to do “Agility” and have me climb on, over, and through these weird things. But I am realizing that even weird things can be fun. I LOVE “Agility” now- it is so fun to run & play and Olivia is always happy to see me! Mom, dad, Olivia, and the whole Zoom Room Team have really helped boost my confidence to another level! Mom says we might even be able to compete in Agility some day. I think that would be fun!
I bet the people in Gallup wouldn’t even recognize me now with how happy, outgoing, and confident I am! Some of my other favorite things include getting snuggled (especially by mom or dad), burrowing in the covers and hogging the bed, playing with other dogs & running really fast, chasing small animals (the best is catching them, but it freaks mom out!), and playing with my pet cat Bertie (mom got him for me right before we moved to Seattle). Thanks for getting to know me! Big kisses and tail wags to you!!
