About the Zoom Room
Featured in Los Angeles Magazine
“Networking is an unofficial pastime for plenty of Angelenos. Why not for their four-legged friends? That’s the logic behind the Zoom Room, a new facility in Culver City that bills itself as a canine social club. The 3,000-square-foot warehouse offers obedience training, daily open-play sessions, a menu of venison hot dogs and lactose-free soft-serve, and Doggy Disco nights with laser light shows (tickets for the recent “Club Pug” sold out in an hour). The Web site lists pups’ hobbies and embarrassing moments, a la Facebook. Suddenly, the dog park seems so down-market.”
