Zoom Room Leads the Pet Space in Technology

When technology giant Mashable looked to find how businesses were using Apple’s iPad, Zoom Room Dog Training topped the list at #1. That a dog training company would be at the forefront of technological innovations is nothing short of surprising. And yet Zoom Room has the distinction of being the first business in America to use the iPad in business.
“All of our nationwide locations are required to use a 3G-enabled iPad model,” says CEO Mark Van Wye. “In the case of an Internet outage — or even a power outage — we can still run every single aspect of our business from the iPad (ringing up sales, scheduling appointments, signing people in to classes, etc.) Thanks to the long battery life, our entire business can run a full day with no hardware and no electricity — just the iPad.”
