Waffles and his blind older brother, Opie have been training with us since June 2024. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of training they had done previously, but even more aghast when we found out Katherine had done it all herself. They have overcome reactivity, mastered heel, and knew every trick on our list before even stepping foot in our building. Training him since he was rescued, Katherine was familiar with all his quirks and goofiness, but we were mesmerized. Since coming to Zoom Room, they have tightened up their skills to make even the toughest look easy and his biggest achievement yet, his weave milestone! Waffles, like many other dogs is a great example that any dog, no matter the breed can be Super!
- Favorite Toy: Hedgie the hedgehog
- Favorite Treat: Peanut butter
- Favorite activity at the Zoom Room: Agility
Waffles’s owner, Katherine and Alex, had this to say:
Waffles was found dumped in the woods in very poor condition. He has come a long way and is now a sweet, goofy boy. He likes to run, but thinks 1/2 mile is practically a marathon. He is an expert hiker and is most at home on trails. Waffles lives for treats and naps.
