Halloween Dog Costume Party

October 31 – Halloween – turned into Hallo-woof at the Zoom Room.  The room was filled with dogs and owners dressed in some of the most creative costumes that ever walked through the Zoom Room’s doors.  Snacks and conversation were plentiful and the atmosphere was spooky.

We held a costume contest for the dogs and their people.  It was VERY difficult to choose winners when everyone worked so hard and all the dogs looked so great.  The judges finally decided on winners in six different categories:

• Best Duo went to Luna and Tink for appearing as Eeyore and Piglet
• Best Costume for the breed was awarded to Winnie — the standard poodle in the poodle skirt
• Funniest Costume went to Colonel Puff Puff, who came as a turtle — green fur and all
• Best Human/Dog Duo went to Dolly and her mom.  They appeared as Minnie Mouse and Mini-me Mouse
• Sophie the pirate barrrrr-ked her way to win Scariest Dog
• Best Overall Costume went to Zelda and Peaches and their parents — the dogs were ghosts, and their parents came dressed in full Ghostbusters gear.
