Half Marathon to Raise Funds for ASPCA

On October 30, the Dodge Rock and Roll Marathon will be pounding the pavement across Los Angeles.

Each Rock and Roll Marathon raises funds for a specific charity.  This particular race is dedicated to the ASPCA.   Don’t be fooled by the name, however.  This event is only a half marathon (WHEW!)

The pre-race expo takes place on October 28 and 29 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.   The expo is full of free samples, running gear, sports apparel, and more.

Interested in running?  If 10 Zoomers are up for the challenge of this 13.1 mile foot race (for fun only, of course), trainer Dave and his girlfriend will run with you.  Each Zoomer will get a free Zoom Room t-shirt for the run.  Also, Zoom Room Culver City will donate $100 to the ASPCA!  Don’t feel pressure… you can run at your own pace and enjoy the experience as quickly or slowly as you wish.
