Dog Uses Charm and Personality to Win

Meet Gatsby, September’s Facebook Member of the Month.  Gatsby was adopted by his mom, Kieren, on January 28, 2007, from Pooch Heaven.  He is half Border Collie and half Flat Coat Retriever.  Gatsby loves playing tag and herding his parents.  He also, oddly enough, enjoys it when his dad, John, grabs two of his legs and spins him in circles through the air!

Word has it that Gatsby is a sucker for affection and would forego treats for a tummy rub.  As his mom puts it, “He’s butter on a skillet.”  He is so welcoming that Kieren’s friends actually want to dog sit and she often has several volunteers.

Kieren says that Gatsby is her best friend and a gift with “tons of personality.”  In fact, it was just this personality that helped Kieren meet two close friends.  To Gatsby, everyone is a friend, or a friend he has not yet met.

The Zoom Room has not yet met Gatsby, but this description of him is certainly enough reason for him to be named Facebook Member of the Month.  Gatsby has received a free five-pack of Open Gym sessions and we truly can’t wait to meet him.  And, of course, his mom too.
