"Endless Summer" Bash Made A Splash

Culver City

Picture-Perfect Party Went Swimmingly

The Zoom Room’s “Endless Summer” bash was the perfect way to keep our summer going.  Over 50 dogs and their people were treated to food, music, and play.  Several dogs were introduced to our agility equipment and made their parents proud when after only a few minutes, they were hurtling through the tire, flying over jumps, and zipping up and down the A-frame.

One of our stars of the day was a little girl called Maggie.  Maggie is clearly an artist who can do quite an array of tricks, including preparing to be searched by the police (by putting her front paws on the nearest wall) and turning from left to right for mug shots.  Hmmm… just what is her mom preparing her for?

Thanks to pet photographer Jesse Friedin, each guest took home a professional polaroid as a souvenir of the day.   The pictures were so enticing that there was a line halfway across our arena just waiting to be posed by Jesse.  If you are interested in scheduling a full photo session with Jesse, he is returning to the Los Angeles area in November.

A special thanks goes out to Douglas Fur, who came prepared for the event by showing up dressed as a hot dog.  To see more pictures of our little hot dog and other party guests, go to our Facebook page.

Did you miss all the fun?  Don’t worry, we are planning a huge charity event with Steve Markwell from the Olympic Animal Sanctuary on Sept 25. Stay tuned for more details.

Did you know that we have classes starting on Monday, August 30?  It’s true.  And to share our excitement, we are offering a “Sunday School” special.  Join any class that starts on Sunday, September 12 and enjoy a 20% savings.
