Hi, I’m Gus! An adorable 16 mo old French Bulldog who fits all the stereotypes. I’m very much a puppy and need lots of playtime or else I get frustrated. When I’m not napping on my warm heating pad, you can find me chewing on my bone, enjoying my lick mat, playing fetch, or chasing shadows. I’m really looking forward to summer again because I hate going potty in the rain. Plus, I really enjoy fun in the sun and being out on the water-it’s my favorite!
After living with a couple of other owners, I finally found my forever home. Mom and dad are hoping I can learn some new (good) habits now that I am living with them.
I struggle with separation anxiety so I really enjoy hopping in the car and my sessions at zoom room with Haylie! I’m a fast learner and recently discovered how fun agility can be. I’m hoping to do those classes in the future. My owners are hoping I can learn to feel calm around other dogs so I guess we’ll work on that too.
Gus’s owner, Vanessa & Luke, had this to say:
We are frenchie obsessed and after losing two others, Gus is our 3rd bulldog. Once we learned he needed to be rehomed, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to give him all our love. He has come a long way with his separation anxiety and is feeling right at home. He lacks manners when on leash (which is why we have not done group classes), but he loves other dogs and wants nothing more than to play. Haylie has helped in so many ways and is so sweet and patient with Gus.
You’re home, sweet Gus Gus, & we love you so much!
