Congratulations to our December Dog of the Month!

My registered name is Midnight Lady, but mom just calls me Kasey – and I’m a very lucky girl. When I first met my mom, I knew she was the one and I tried to jump into her arms…but I was only six weeks old! We are best friends, and she says my personality tops all the poodles she has ever owned.

I want to be friends with everyone, and I am learning how to meet and greet furry friends at Zoom Room without getting too excited. My mom and I have put in a lot of hard work, and I just passed my Canine Good Citizen test!

My favorite treats are animal crackers, but if I work extra hard at Zoom Room, I’ll earn freeze-dried cheese – that’s the best! My absolute favorite thing in the world, though, is a “ball”. I know exactly where they are kept at Zoom Room, and I’ll try my best to talk anyone into playing with me. I love all the events at Zoom Room – I had my second birthday party there, and at the Halloween party, I got to meet my cousin (see photo above).

Besides playing with a ball and meeting new friends, I also love to swim in my Papa’s pool. I jump from the steps and sometimes he has to make me take a break, because I have gone so many times. I also love to race him to the other side – guess who wins?

One day, I hope to be a therapy dog who helps children learn how to read.
