First Annual Fur Festival

Last weekend, Zoom Room Austin was proud to sponsor the first annual Fur Festival for the Animal Trustees of Austin. It was a bit cold and grey for autumn in Austin, but the turnout was spectacular – with plenty of fur and dog-lovers in abundance. We were thrilled that so many Zoom Room members came out in support of this great cause, and equally pleased to meet so many new dogs as we provided free lessons on the mini agility course we set up.

The Animal Trustees of Austin is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals in need and promoting animal welfare in general.  They have a Wellness Clinic that offers services on a walk-in basis five days a week, and a Spay/Neuter Clinic that has performed over 85,000 surgeries!  The Animal Trustees of Austin is really doing their part to help the pet owners of Austin and the surrounding areas receive the veterinary care their pets really need!

The Fur Festival was presented by L Style G Style, and featured a variety of services, information, and retail items. We had our own booth where we provided agility lessons, training tips, and dog evaluations.
