Queso’s the Gouda-est Boy!

Queso

At Zoom Room Arrowhead, we absolutely love our silly boy, Queso! From the moment we met him, he’s brought so much joy and laughter to the team. Watching him grow has been such a rewarding experience—he’s not only become a true star in our obedience and agility classes, but he’s also shown us just how smart and eager to learn he truly is. One of our favorite memories of Queso has to be the time he ran an advanced agility course with a piece of cheese stashed in his cheek the entire time! As he navigated the course like a pro, that little bit of cheese stayed safely tucked away, and when he finally crossed the finish line, he spit it out and ate it like it was the greatest reward. It had us all laughing, and just goes to show how truly unique and funny this guy is! Queso’s hard work also paid off in April 2024 when he earned his Canine Good Citizen award, a testament to his well-rounded training and amazing temperament. But he didn’t stop there—he also earned tricks titles, proving that his skills (and charm) are endless! We couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come, and we’re excited to continue watching this sweet, goofy pup reach new heights. Go Queso!

  • Favorite Toy: Squeaky Koala
  • Favorite Treat: Salmon and of course CHEESE!!
  • Favorite Hobby: Hiking and bunny spotting (it is hilarious to watch him creep up on them in slow motion)
  • Favorite activity at the Zoom Room: Agility!

Queso’s owner, Nicole, had this to say:

Queso loves hanging out with his people and is always ready to go anywhere. He loves to hike, walk, camp, visit grandma and grandpa’s house, and chase the ball— but there is nothing better than seeing how excited he gets when I ask him if he wants to go to “school!” Talk about immediate zoomies and whines of anticipation— he can’t contain his excitement. Zoom Room has become a highlight of his week and even though he is always the best boy, he is espeically a good boy after his “perfect day,” which includes agility class, a couple walks, snacks, and if he is lucky, a few bunny sightings!
