Ilah is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet, with a heart as big as her paws. Adopted in August of 2024, she started off a bit unsure of herself, especially around other dogs, so she began private lessons to work on her reactivity. Over a short period of time, thanks to her being such a fast learner, she began to blossom. Her confidence grew with each class, and now she’s thriving in group settings and even playgroups, showing off all the progress she’s made. It’s amazing to see how far she’s come in sucha. short time – she’s not just a sweetheart anymore, but a well-rounded, happy dog who’s eager to learn and interact with the world around her!

• Favorite Toy: She has numerous toys, and loves them all…..she knows them by name, and loves to go get them out of her toy bin and show you and take them all over, especially in the car for rides, or for a walk in the backyard! Her favorite (so far) is probably her “pink piggy”
• Favorite Treat: All treats, but Ilah loves “puppy ice cream” and licking it out of the container.
• Favorite Hobby: Ilah loves getting her back scratched, and if Mommy is not available, she will go outside and becomes very self-sufficient as she loves to brush up against the side of the house (while walking), or brushing up against the walls in the yard!!
• Favorite activity at the Zoom Room: Ilah loves to just walk in and see the trainers and share kisses and lovings. Ilah has loved all of her classes and playgroups at the Zoom Room; she recently loved her Agility private training and I believe will enjoy that class a lot!

Ilah’s owner, Michele, had this to say:

Although I’ve only had Ilah 1 ½ yrs, it’s been a journey teaching her confidence, and overcoming her separation anxiety which has been huge! Thanks to all our training at the Zoom Room, we have made a ton of progress, along with learning how to be around other dogs and look forward to lots of adventures and classes ahead!

We hope one day to have Ms. Ilah become a Therapy Dog, or perhaps a “Navigator Buddy” at the airport!
