We hope you will enjoy the story of Frankie, a Terrier Mix, our October Dog of the Month.
After Frankie’s owners lost their dear cat friend of 10 years, they and their other two cats were having a tough time moving forward.
One day I went to the West LA Animal Shelter to look into finding another animal friend to help both the humans and the animals of our household have a new focus and move forward. The dog I had originally went to look at ended up not being the right fit, but in his same cage was this little terrier puppy who wouldn’t stop licking my face! I knew I had to take him home with me. I adopted him that day. I fell so in love instantly. He is a best friend to us all, and shares a unique friendship with both cats. We really consider Frankie a surprise gift!
Frankie loves stuffed toys, even though they don’t last. And his favorite treat is any kind of jerky.
He loves going for walks with his mom and dad. And Frankie plays and snuggles with his brother and sister (who happen to be 9 and 10 year old cats) several times a day and kisses his sister at least once a day.
We’re so grateful to enjoy time with Frankie and his parents at the Zoom Room Culver City.
