It’s not every day you find a historic landmark that not only welcomes you but your dog, too!  Cypress Inn in Carmel-By-the-Sea does, though!  A landmark boutique inn since 1929, the inn was owned by Doris Day and has become a modern-day hot spot in Carmel.

Cypress Inn’s Director of Pet Relations (and Chihuahua) Sadie welcomes all visiting canines and ensures they have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The inn’s pet-friendly accommodations include a complimentary pet blanket in each guest’s room and a list of pet-sitters at the front desk, since canine companions cannot be left unattended in guest rooms.
